1. About Tutorize

Tutorize ("we", "us", or "our") is a South African tutoring service that provides academic tutoring and the NBT Accelerator Course to students. By accessing our website (tutorize.co.za) or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the site with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Services

Tutorize offers the following services:

• NBT Accelerator Course — a digital course designed to help students prepare for the National Benchmark Tests (NBTs). R299/month subscription, cancel anytime.
• Private tutoring sessions — one-on-one tutoring in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, English, and Afrikaans, booked via WhatsApp.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

4. Payments

• All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
• Online payments are processed securely by PayFast. We do not store your payment card details.
• Payment must be received in full before access to the NBT Accelerator Course is granted.
• Tutoring session payment terms are agreed directly via WhatsApp prior to the session.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Our cancellation and refund terms are detailed in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within the NBT Accelerator Course — including text, images, videos, and study materials — is the intellectual property of Tutorize and is protected by South African copyright law.

• Course materials are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell any course content without our written permission.
• Sharing your login credentials or course access with others is strictly prohibited.

7. Code of Conduct

When engaging with Tutorize services, you agree to:

• Treat tutors and staff with respect.
• Arrive on time for scheduled tutoring sessions.
• Not engage in any form of academic dishonesty.
• Not misuse or attempt to circumvent our website or payment systems.

We reserve the right to terminate access to our services, without refund, if these standards are not upheld.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is". While we make every effort to deliver high-quality tutoring and course content, we do not guarantee specific academic results or outcomes. Performance depends on factors including the student's effort and prior knowledge.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our services, to the extent permitted by South African law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., PayFast, WhatsApp). These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
